They started crossing paths at Ball State University, consistently passing each other on campus and recognizing one another as acquaintances. Their friendship grew and the timing was finally right for them to become official as Carlie was graduating college. Five and a half years later they were finally planning their wedding from New York City while frequenting the neighboring Central Park for strolls.
We had the pleasure of photographing Carlie & Matt in New York for their engagement session. We ran around New York hitting up Central Park and the Brooklyn Bridge, via taxi of course. If you missed them or want to check them out again, you can view their engagement photos here. It is easily one of our favorite engagement sessions to date. Not only were we in an incredible place, we were with two amazing people. We left New York last summer beyond excited for their wedding day.
Both Matt and Carlie could not wait until Carlie was walking down that aisle. It was hands down their favorite moment of the entire day. These could not have been more invested in one another that day and focused on celebrating spending the rest of their lives together. Even Carlie’s dad accidentally pulling off her veil after he turned from giving her away only added to the lightheartedness of the day. These two are absolutely STUNNING both inside and out, and it was beautiful to watch them commit their lives to one another.
We are so happy to have gotten to work with such a fabulous team for their gorgeous day!! Their wedding was held at The Pointe, with BEAUTIFULLY designed florals by Boston’s Floral Couture, catering by the amazing Wiltshire Pantry (seriously, their food was delectable!), and the night ended with the wonderful entertainment of their band, Kudmani! Here are just a few images from the many wonderful shots we captured from their incredible day!!
